The New Bathtub is Pretty Roomy for Everything

August 31st, 2010

New Bathtub That Hides Storage SystemsBath time is like the most enjoyable time in our daily life, and I assume everyone enjoys that. So a better bathroom space will make the bath time even more comfortable for you, and that why this new bathtub was born for. It can hide storage systems to make more space within your bathroom and to keep your bathing essentials in well organization.

As you can from the photo above, the exterior design of this bathtub is actually quite conventional, simple but beautiful; but the inner design is totally awesome, with which you can put away all the things you’ll ever need when having a bath, and you can get it when want because everything will be put in order.

The whole idea about this new innovative bathtub is that: When an ordinary bathtub is built with extra storage systems on sides, we bet you would feel rather happy to have much more space in your small bathrooms.

Love the new bathtub, I’ll never be in the place of can’t find my shampoo any more.

Play Roly-Poly with Your Lamp

August 30th, 2010

Roly-Poly LightYes, a Roly-Poly Light. Do you recall that when we were still young we used to love those big dull but cute Roly-Poly, when you push him over, he just smiles and bounces back up, that was totally fun. Now to recall all those happy memory and to renew the fun, I present you the Roly-Poly Light, bring some light to the old game.

Seemingly the designer Jung Jae Yup prefers items with a bounce-back-up feature too… Dubbed “Roly-Poly”, the stainless steel lamp would never fall onto the ground but keep shaking its head back and forth to make you laugh everyday.

I always believe that science is a totally awesome thing, and it has brought us with so many convenience. And guess what, ideas are even more important to our life, they can bring the fun, and make life interesting! The Roly-Poly Light is a perfect combination of science and design ideas, fun and functional, love it!

Sunglasses As Lamp

August 29th, 2010

Celebrity LampWhen it comes about summer, the first thing that pop into my mind is always the various kind of sunglasses, it’s like everyone loves beautiful sunglasses. And you know who love them even more? The celebrities, yes, I almost never saw any celebrities going out without one pair of these gorgeous sunglasses. As we all love to gossip about the celebrities, the interesting thing happens now, called the Celebrity Lamp.

Guess what, your lamp can also become a star when equipped with up to 40 pairs of mirrored aviator glasses! Resembling most celebrities who are used to wearing large sunglasses, the cool Celebrity Lamp not only has an outstanding appearance but features an amusing temple light switch, changing the colors of the lenses when switched on or off.

I love the idea, so different, very stylish. And the colorful lamp light is a really nice plus! The idea’s totally genius.

Cute Bicycles to Come

August 26th, 2010

Sergio Garcia’s TricyclesBicycle is a very good transportation, it is eco-friendly, cute and good exercise too! But as women always are, I just can’t help feeling that the conventional bicycles are not very beautiful, and youth want something different so badly. So I guess that’s partly why the Sergio Garcia’s tricycles are made for at the first place.

Honestly, we haven’t seen any fantastic bicycle designs for quite a long time. And now it’s the right time to show you what the US-based artist Sergio Garcia has created for the kids, and for us too. One is a frame-bending tricycle, which uses a round metal to connect the seat and the handlebar. And the other tricycle has two handlebars!

Really interesting work indeed, but how could a kid safely ride such weird tricycles? Maybe only the young riders know. But they look totally cool, the kids will definitely love them!

August 25th, 2010

As time passing by is not really a very happy thing, so we should try our best to make it happier, like using a really cute time piece like this Marionette Clock. Designed by Jongchul Kim, these two cute Mint boys will tell us time by some interesting sports.

From Robotic Hands Clock to Bungee Jumping Mint Clock, Korean designer Jongchul Kim has surprised us with really amazing clocks. And right here is another wall clock that you’ll fancy. It’s the Marionette Clock, which shows time with its hanging hand that is hooked up with the string to two Mint Boys at the top. So as the Mint Boys ride their unicycles, the vertical wire length will be changed, and the time will then be displayed. Really interesting, isn’t it?

A Peek of Nature Inside the House

August 24th, 2010

Plant Shaped Bar StoolsWhen we’re inside the house, especially when we’re in front of a laptop screen (like you are right now), our eyes might feel tired and boring, and would really want to have a peek at nature. However such a simple request sometimes can be really difficult, so when that happens the Plant Shaped Bar Stools can just help you out.

Entitled as “The Plant”, these bar stools designed by Svilen Gamolov each has an elegant shape, just as the real plants do. They’re made up of fiberglass with fabric upholster, and acryl, each measuring 86 cm in height, 50 cm in width and 50 cm in depth. But will you feel that you’re sitting on a tree when you’re seated on such Plant shaped stools? Do tell me your feelings when you see them in a bar, or by someone’s coffee table.

Well, I think this is really a terrific gift to people like us who don’t get to see nature for what it is often, the cute nice stool will just give us a peek of nature everyday, therefore give us a nice mood.

The Transformable Lamp is Really Versatile

August 23rd, 2010

Transformable Lamp That Modulates Light IntensityBeautiful cute lamps can make our home more comfortable, and of course more beautiful. So I’m always happy to search for some cute distinctive lamps, and yet here’s one little gorgeous – the Transformable Lamp that modulates light intensity.

Soft and semi-transparent, the lamp designed by Martin Bahrij can give quite warm light in the night to create you a peaceful atmosphere. And it is also designed with the ability to modulate light intensity: it can be used as a night light when closed but offer large amount of light when its bottom is open.

Esthetically so beautiful, I just love the lamp at the very first glance. And when you look a little deep, it is also so thoughtful that allows you to modulates the light intensity. I’d love to have a night light like this, it’s awesome!

Slim is a Worldly Pursuing

August 19th, 2010

Slim Coffee CupSlim is not just what human beings pursue, it is actually a worldly pursuing! Everything want to slim, or should I say that we want everything to be slim? Well either way, we’ve found this Slim Coffee Cup for you, it looks normal at one side, but extremely slim at other side. It is very interesting, you should really check it out!

Apart from the young beauties, the ceramic molded cup designed by Israeli student Sharona Merlin also wants to have a good figure, and it does look slim! Hailed “Slim Cup”, the new coffee cup appears like a typical coffee cup from one side, but almost disappears when turned 90 degrees. Except the ceramic cup, Sharona Merlin is also working on designing other slim ceramics tableware so as to help the consumers see “the way things get slimmer as technology moves forward”.

Slim, thy ambition is worldly! Now even coffee cups are so slim, but despite the fact that I do love the interesting looking of this cup, I really doubt it could ever serve as a nice coffee cup. Do you want to drink coffee from such a slim weird coffee cup?

The Beauty of A Memo Pad

August 18th, 2010

leaf-it Memo Pads By Sangwoo NamI believe that everyone loves the nature, its cute animals, its beautiful sceneries and its gorgeous plants! For people like us who live in the city do not get to see all these beauty as they are very often, but we do love them anyway, so let the ‘leaf-it’ Memo Pads bring the beauty of nature always with you!

When we were still a child, we used to put the maple leaves or ginkgo leaves between pages of a book and they were possibly the first kind of bookmarks we’ve ever met. Today, Korean designer Sangwoo Nam is still using leaves as bookmarks. However, they’re not real ones from trees, but simply feature the same shapes and colors of leaves. Even so, these artificial leaves are indeed beautiful and vivid, giving us aesthetic satisfaction.

I love the golden ginkgo leaves, and I think the ‘leaf-it’ idea’s just great, beautiful!
