Wonder Water

June 07th, 2010

Sexy Touchless FaucetDo you ever feel boring about conventional faucets which you have to touch to turn on and down the water? I guess you do, because that means your hands are never clean enough, and we do not like that. So that’s one of the reasons why most public places have replaced those conventional faucets with modern touchless ones. But here today we’re going to talk about is not just a touchless faucet, it is much more than just that!

First, the exterior design is neat and beautiful, I really love the compact fluid shape and smooth feel. But the most amazing part of this high technology faucet is not this. The magic faucet is completely controlled by gestures, a wave of the hand will change its temperature and flow rate. You move your hands backward, the flow rate goes down, otherwise the flow rate goes up; You move your hands away from the side of the faucet, the water runs from single stream into shower-like multi-stream, otherwise, do the reversal. Also, the beautiful faucet has two sides for you to move your hands around, one for hot water and another for cold water. There’s even two lights to generally indicate the temperature too! I think this faucet is totally great for a modern kitchen, or maybe a bathroom too.

If you want more information on this, you can check out the designer’s website at Jasper Dekker.com, there’s even videos to check out. Believe me, the videos of the working prototype really will convince you that this is a neat idea!

How To Have A Luxurious Soak in Your Bathtub

March 10th, 2010

Deep Water BathAfter a day’s hard work, the most comfortable thing is to have a luxurious soak in your bathtub. This is very good for both our physical health and mental health, it helps your body and your mind to relax, release all day’s stress and fatigue! So it is quite important to have a nice bath, and here’s something that will increase your comfort.

A luxurious soak in the bathtub is so much better when you can sink all the way up to your chin. Use Deep Water Bath to override the overflow valve and you’ll get extra inches of water in the tub, and your bath will be much better!

Home decorating blog Apartment Therapy directed us to this cool gadget. It fits over your tub’s drain overflow valve to let the water rise nearly to the rim. The semi-plug has a drain hole at the top, though, so your tub won’t actually overflow. It’s removable, too, and easy to stash when not in use.

This little gadget is now out for grab at Amazon for around $7. Interesting, with this little gadget you can enjoy your bath even more, since there’s more water and all your body’s covered, it’ll be super comfortable, and thus you’ll be surprised at what a couple inches of water can do!

The idea’s simple, but really great, please share your own bathtime luxury tips in the comments.

iSave Faucet, Start Saving for The Future

March 07th, 2010

iSave faucetThe world is our home, take care of it! It has been a long time since we aware of the environmental problems and we’ve been told to take actions to protect the world, but somehow things continued getting worse even though we thought we’ve done the things right as we can! The truth is we’re trying hard enough, these little bad habits we ignored actually are very important. The key to this thing is to take actions start from the very little things!

It’s quite good to see that this green concept is really making people think about the dooms day. The urgency, restlessness, fuel prices rising can be seen. Go green is really the call of the hour, and here is a nice product to be looked upon – iSave faucet by Reamon Yu, a design so smart and efficient that it was recently chosen as a runner-up in the Metropolis Magazine Next Generation awards. It is a LED display for faucets and showers to make users aware of their water usage, and then make them more inclined to save water.

iSave faucet sketchThe gadget can easily attach to your sink or showerhead to provide a digital readout of the amount of water that was being used in a shower. Another exciting feature is – it doesn’t need any external energy to keep it running rather energy is generated through a turbine which activates as the water pressurizes it. Looks aren’t bad either! So next time you use water – be careful, either buy this gadget or try curbing your water consumption. I really think this idea is genius! Let’s all start saving for the future!

Yet Another High-Tech Toilet from Toto

February 07th, 2010

Toto Neorest SEWe’ve talked indeed quite a lot about toilets before, and yet here’s another elegant high-tech toilet! For one thing I had to admit that I’m really interested in nice bathroom appliances, cause I do believe in the theory that the condition of bathroom indicates a man’s living standard! In other words, you can see a man’s lifestyle by look at his bathroom. So, it’s actually quite important to get your bathroom look really nice, and now, let’s check out this elegant toilet.

The Neorest SE is a new high-tech toilet from Toto packed with great features. Being Washlet Bidet function integrated, this is seriously a luxury and innovative toilet addition to the well-known Neorest range. As we all know, nothing is too much for Japan company Toto to take on… from a sensor operated automatically opening and closing lid to an automatic flush. The washlet cleaning functions are, though, what really makes a Toto toilet special. You can pick from different washes such as an oscillating wash or a soft wash, and also select if you wish to use the air-drying feature. Of course, the toilet seat is electrically kept warm for comfort even on chilly mornings. And wouldn’t you already know? The new Neorest toilet is self-cleaning too! Clever CeFiONtect glazing and a Tornado Flush make this self-regulating hygiene possible. And as for it’s external appearance, the Neorest SE is of a classic, contemporary design, which is totally suitable for an elegant modern bathroom! And also there’s a brother product called the “Neorest LE”, which boasts the same features, but sports a more curvier, flowing design suitable for any bathroom.

Convenient, elegant, intelligent, this Toto Neorest SE is really a nice toilet designed for those who desires a healthy upscaled lifestyle! And just to be clear: Toto toilets will seriously actually upgrade your standard of living!

Clever Faucet tells Temperature

January 28th, 2010

LED water faucetWater is one of the most important elements in our daily life, we use it to drink, to wash and many more. But somehow water is kind of dangerous too, although we don’t have to worry about drown inside the house (well, still do if have got a personal pool at home), we do should be aware of impending burning! So here is a clever faucet that can warn you of the impending burning!

Yes, we’ve seen a couple LED faucets before, but this one is very different. Check it: rather than just making your water blue, which makes you feel like you’re doing the dishes with antifreeze, it changes color based on the temperature, making you feel like you’re doing the dishes with either antifreeze or Gatorade. Not just for fun, actually it’s a cool concept, as you won’t have to worry about scorching your hand while testing the water again. If it’s red, don’t mess with it. This could quite possibly be the world’s first color changing faucet — built-in LEDs change colors based on the water temperature. There is also “precise control” for baths, sinks, and showers.

So this is it, elegant and practical! No more worry about burnt, you can totally count on this high-tech water faucet!

The most Luxurious toilet ever!

January 20th, 2010

golden toiletWe’ve mentioned this chrome-plated toilet before, and heard a lot about this amazing golden toilet, now finally, here it is!

We have already seen a couple of tech-toilets, including the Toto’s toilet with MP3 and the Kohler C3 toilet seat with remote control, but the ultimate in luxury toilets was showcased recently at the Extravaganza luxury exhibition held in Moscow – a gold plated toilet. It is priced at a staggering 250,000 Euros.

The gold toilet is equipped with advanced plasma mirror and digital control devices. The decoration material used is gilded marble. The gilded toilet has been fascinatingly christened ‘Moscow.’ Other than the gold-plated toilet, there are luxury swimsuits, sofas, and chairs at the luxury exhibition and the pricing for these luxurious things start at US $5,000. The main aim of the Extravaganza luxury exhibition was to gather interesting, unusual and extravagant goods and services under one roof. The three-day program was filled with on-stage entertainment acts, fashion shows and interactive presentations from dawn until dusk.

Luxury have always been astonishing, but really luxury like this is pretty out of imagination, can anyone ever use this toilet as a normal toilet? And if so, what’s the point of this golden thing?!

A Gorgeous toilet for the BornRich

January 17th, 2010

toiletYou might wonder how gorgeous can a toilet ever be now? Well, we have earlier told you about a high tech toilet that is especially designed for women, and now here comes the real luxury one for the bornrich! A Swarovski crystal studded toilet! How does it look? I’ll just say it’s unutterable, and you can check it out from the picture here!

This one comes from the same maker who earlier lured the rich folks with their chrome-plated toilet. But, for those who demand more, there is ‘Isis‘ collection that features blinged-out bathroom fixtures designed by Jemal Wright of Hollywood, Florida. The iced-out toilet featured here comes fully encrusted with swarvoski crystals. The artist even has a matching sink up for grabs and if that is not enough, the artist is also planning to complete an ice-encrusted double slipper tub. The swarovski-decked toilet comes with a stunning price tag of $75,000.

Really really shocking, right? I really doubt anyone could ever use this  thing as a toilet, well, this is after all apparently not for you and me, it is designed just for the bornrich, so now, Let’s just leave the problem of how to use this to them!

The BEST Toilet for women

January 14th, 2010

Toto intelligence Toilet IIBathroom has always been a very important part of our home, and along with the development of technology and people’s need for toilets changed. Today wanted out toilets to be more powerful than just a “toilet”, we care really much about our health conditions and want to know about it frequently. As a result of all these, toilets today have become really intelligent, and almost like a family doctor to us!

The Intelligence Toilet from Toto was a boon for bathrooms when it came into existence in 2005. Now the same toilet maker has joined hands with Daiwa Housing to introduce the sequel, “Intelligence Toilet II,” which targets women. Carrying all previous characteristics (measurement of urine sugar, blood pressure, body fat and weight), the new version adds a new function, i.e. urine temperature measurement and analysis to the successor. The women oriented toilet analyzes urine and collects data of one’s body temperature and hormone balance information, helping them (women) keep track of their menstruation cycle.

So, quite impressive, right? I am really amazed that a single toilet can do so many things for us and therefore do such great good to our health, and as you can see from the picture, it’s no larger than a regular toilet. Must be the Best toilet ever, especially for women!
