The Light of A Flower

June 01st, 2010

Blooming LampIn a whole year, I find most people love spring the best, generally because of all these beautiful flowers out there. Yes, we all love flowers, for they’re beautiful, they smells good, and they represent nature and life. So we sometimes grow flowers inside our house too, but flowers can’t bloom forever, although we understand that’s how it works in nature, but still we feel sad when they’re gone.

So then there comes lots of artificial flowers that never wither and fall, and among all those I love this “Bloom Lamp” the most. Just see how light comes out of a flower, and how a lamp blooms!

Those who love the nature would love everything that reminds them of the wonderful creations of the nature, too. And that’s possibly the main reason why we love the “Bloom Lamp” designed by Patrick Jouin. Yaps, the lamp has simulated a beautiful flower—when in use, it gradually transforms from a bud to a blooming flower to release the light; and when not in use, the lamp then closes its petals to regain the shape of the bud.

Well, I’d love to have such a “bright” flower at home, do you?

Interesting Bulb that Lights Up Each Other

May 18th, 2010

Infectious LightI love cute lights, they give my life not just light but also many fun and cuteness. So I’ve introduced quite some very interesting lights in my earlier posts, and today I am going to show you these new cute infectious lights, this is actually many cute bulbs being together and makes a great and funny light.

Infectious Light is a modular lighting system made up of several battery-run light bulbs that could sense and react to each other. These bulbs gotta light up one by one when you bring the “mother” light closer to the “baby” lights, and the project takes the very name “Infectious Light” simply from that act.

The designer has also created a kind of luminous tree for these soft spheres, to solve the problem of charging.

Infectious Light 1Too bad this thing doesn’t come with any price details, but we’ve already seen that these stylish and cute lights would give your homes a refreshing look.

So, how do you feel about this fabulous light tree? Well, I think it is really incredibly cute, definite want to get one as soon as this hits the market.Infectious Light 2

A Sweet Little Light in Your Table

May 10th, 2010

Firefly TableI love interesting small tables, they’re cute and make my life colorful and joyful. When I am having dinner along, or when I want to have a read, I always wanted to have a interesting small table to add the fun. So after some Google work, I found this Firefly table I think I should share with you guys. It’s a sweet table that is interesting, romantic and functional.

Inspired by the beautiful fireflies sparking in the gardens on summer nights, Vuk Dragovic has come up with an innovative table also named as “Firefly”. It has a built-in lamp, which is powered by solar energy collected during the daytime and emits light in the nights. At the bottom of the lamp, there’s usually text or logo that could be projected onto the ground to boast certain products, movies, and firms.

This table is very interesting and do will make your time at home more enjoyable, I really love the design, and the little light is so thoughtful and sweet.

The “Big Belly” Bulb

May 09th, 2010

Big Belly LightWe human being love lights and interesting lamps are always fun. We’ve seen quite a lot of interesting lamps before, and today we’re going to introduce this “fat” lamp that is so cute. As a lamp, this one is more like a shinning pet. Well, just check it out!

Well, I have to say, the bulb created by Pieke Bergmans is really too fat…Look, the crystal LED lamp has to rest its big belly on the table. Aha, really impressive.

Here is some more information from the designer:

“It is a light bulb that has gone way out of line. Infected by the dreaded Design Virus, these Blubs have taken on all kinds of forms and sizes you wouldn’t expect from such well behaving and reliable little products.”

So, just call me “Big Belly” and love me, hah…

A New Way to “Light” your life

February 22nd, 2010

squeeze LED lightsThe most wonderful power in the world is light which illuminates in the dark, turns the darkness into light! We all have many different lights, for different use, and if you ever know me, I love cute lights, they’re like visually the ideas of life! Well, here’s some interesting adorable lights for you, definitely will light your life! Check.

I never thought that I’d actually call LED lights cute, delightful, or cuddly. But these indeed are. Designed by Diana Lin, the d-light Bubbles are made for squeezing—just don’t be startled by the squeaky woosh sound when you fondle the silicone. Because of the material, they felt really good in hand, and squeezing’s always fun whether you’re six or sixty! The lights are now available for $140. Looks expensive, and I can’t tell you whether that’s a good deal though, because I haven’t been keeping up on the street price for gropes, but let’s just agree that these are rather neat LED lights.

Anyway, I would love to have some of these cute little lights, looks really adorable to me. Enjoy the squeezing and snuggling fun!

weird droplight

January 17th, 2010

droplightWe need light every minute in our life, so when the nature light’s gone we have to use a lamp to create light for life. Therefore the light market now is full of different types of lights. And droplights are usually romantic and fancy, but however after seeing this you might will change your mind about this. It’s a hangman droplight!

Yes, a hangman droplight exactly what it looks like. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not at all a morbid kind of person, but I really like the Hangman Droplights. Seemingly the same as sunny dolls, the hangman light actually conveys a cruel but healthy meaning, that is only you save up your time that you have verily cherished your life. Having this in mind, maybe you wouldn’t mind hanging such a weird lamp in your room.

This is undeniable a weird lamp that is really sort of cruel, but as the materials it was made of, it appears not at all bloody, but actually a little cute and this lamp really means something if you believe in that, it can always remind you to save your time and seize the moment. So maybe not such a bad idea to have one hangman droplight in your home!

LED EcoBulb-illuminates only directions needed

January 10th, 2010

EcoBulbThe world is our home, Look After it! It has been very clear to us that we have to care about the world we live in, people today are always more willing  to use eco-friendly appliances other than the old ones. So I’m going to introduce a LED Ecoulb here for all of you and for the world we live in.

Well, we’re required to save power energy from time to time, but how? I mean, we truly can control how often we use the lights, but we couldn’t decide how much energy we’re using since every bulb is designed to illuminate the whole room with certain light intensity. Except the ‘EcoBulb’ designed by Seokjae Rhee, it’s a design that says “Please just use the lights YOU NEED”. It is an adjustable bulb that comes with six distinct sections, each of which could be remotely controlled to change their brightness and lighting directions. As a result, ‘EcoBulb’ will merely illuminate those needed parts of the room with required light.

So basically, with this intelligent bulb you can easily save power energy by nearly harf. In my opinion, this is merely suitable for bedrooms but not for sitting rooms or kitchens. Well, better than nothing! Get one and start looking after your HOME. Here is how it works:
