Cute Box From Samsung

March 23rd, 2010

Shakeable MP3 Player from SamsungWhat a cute box! The pure bright color, the clear look, this is perfect for summer, totally cool. And what do you think this little box is? Ok, it’s a cute MP3 player, cut huh? I admit I do always love cute MP3 players, because you know, they’re cute, fashionable, and they bring nice music too, totally adorable! You can enjoy the little thing in anyway, it’s totally delightful to get such a cutie.

Well, this is the shakeable MP3 Player from Samsung named ‘TicToc’. Announced during Samsung’s CES press conference, the TicToc is believed to be a perfect alternative to Apple’s iPod Shuffle. Based on a built-in motion sensor, TicToc allows the users to change tunes by shaking the player slowly or quickly. The more slowly you shake the player, a much gentler music will be chosen, and vice versa.(But I’m really confused how this little machine’s going to know what music is gentle, or which one is intense.) There’s a big button on one end to control the volume and a headphone port on the other. Turn the button to face the ground when you want to decrease the volume and make sure the button faces up if you’d like to increase the volume. The Samsung TicToc could support MP3, WMA, OGG, and FLAC audio formats with 12 hours of battery life. It will soon be available in two versions (2GB and 4GB capacities) but still no words on price. Anyway, really a cute little thing I would love to have for the warmer season, looks pretty cool…

The world’s largest plasma TV unveiled at CES

January 11th, 2010

TVNowadays, as the internet keeps developing and vedio games keeps rolling over the world, TVs are not just TVs we used to mean. With a television we can do much more than just watch TV, like play video games or even surf the internet! Therefore we have more and more requirements for TVs, they just keep developing into a bigger, more powerful but thinner thing. The pursuing  of a huge screen never stoped and now the world’s largest plasma TV so far has just been unveiled at CES.

It was in March last year that we first heard of the plans to see the world’s largest plasma television at 150 inches, but the excitement has just begun when the world’s largest plasma TV has been unveiled by Panasonic at CES. The plasma HDTV measures 6.5 feet x 11.5-feet, i.e. almost the size of nine 50-inch sets. It is obvious that the idea was to give some excitement in the market and encourage consumers to buy some value-for-money items, but we never thought it would become volume-for-money. However, there’s no word on pricing as yet.

Play games and watch high definition movies and TVs at such a huge screen will be really exciting, an no doubt enjoyable. But the price of this might be a little hurting. Let’s just hope these huge screens will come to common one day, and we can surely all have one by then!
