No More Falling

It is indeed because of fall these little gadgets we hold at home that made our house a sweet home, and made our life more comfortable and convenient. And the largest quantity of gadgets we hold at home? Hooks, definitely hooks, we really need them to carry many things.

Hooks are then indeed very useful tools but sometimes they could be quite annoying, just not that useful to keep towels, jackets or raincoats from falling off. So sculptor and engineer Stefan Bennedahl offered the Clever Hook with a self-grabbing mechanism, to pinch everything in place. It works in a way like this: you hang a towel onto the lower “arm”, the weight of the towel then causes the top “arm” to come down and grab the item tightly. The mechanism is designed to hold up to 40 lbs, and the heavier the item is, the tighter it grabs. To remove, you simply need to lift up the item, and the top arm will retract.

Well, the idea is simple but really useful, this is the kind of idea we need in life! Don’t you think so?
