Fun Chair

Everyone wants a rocking chair, for it just feels so happy to sit and rock in a rocking chair. I still remember when I was young I used to love rocking in my grandma’s old chair and I actually enjoyed the “ga-ga” wooden noise. On the other hand, you know what, every kid wants a play car to sit in and play car games. So if you have this Schaukelwagen, it means you have a rocking chair for yourself and a play car for your kid at the same time.

Well, well, the “Schaukelwagen” concept has already existed for more than 50 years before it finally came into real products. But fortunately we can see them visually here at myhouseholdapplices.com. Designed by Hans Brockhage and Erwin Andra, the unique furniture consists of only a birch frame, a molded plywood seat and four wheels, but allows for double duty as both a rocking chair and a kid’s play car.

I totally love the fun chair, and I would really love to get one of my own.
