Ripple Effect Shows On A Table

September 02nd, 2010

Ripple Effect Tea TableAt a sunny afternoon, having a cup of tea is really an enjoyable thing, so I guess you all love. Maybe except for the kids, they’ll love more exciting events, tea’s just too quiet and plain for them. But things can always change, your tea time can be with more movements now, and your kids might will love to have a cup of tea with you, thanks to this Ripple Effect Tea Table.

Inspired by the idea that small changes of individual objects can be a big impact on the whole, Korean designers Seo Jeonghwa and Hanna Chung have collaborated the ‘ripple effect’ tea table that features a water layer on the top to make ripples when the users move cups on it. As a result, both your movements and the cups’ movements will cause a change on the table. Isn’t that interesting?

I always love interesting furnitures, they make our plain life more beautiful and interesting, adds a lot of fun. So, how do you like this ripple effect tea table?

Wonder Furniture

August 17th, 2010

Somnys Multiuse FurnitureFurnitures are what make our house our house, different from other and quite unique in the world, that’s because we choose different furnitures that we think are perfect for our house. However I love large beautiful furnitures though, I rarely buy those, my choices are usually incline to small multiuse furnitures, like this “Somnys” Multiuse Furniture!

Despite that we cannot dedicate a pretty serious amount of space to large furniture like beds and tables so as to accommodate our guests, we can still create them a comfortable “living room” with the “Somnys” transformer furniture. Designed by Fabien Rolland, the modular coffee table can pack flat for easy storage when not in use while transform into a guest bed when needed. It’s also easy to assemble and collapse, allowing the users to convert it from a table into a bed in quite a short time.

It is a table, and a bed too, and it looks really beautiful! And it takes not much room, this is really useful.

Hide Your Table

July 25th, 2010

wall mount tablesEvery home needs some creativity, that’s the idea of life, and that’s the fun of householding. So as we can never get enough room at home, we’re always looking for ways to make good use of our limited space at home, and that’s why these interesting tables are made for you. Look! My tables can fold into the wall!

Tables are needed furniture but they’re usually also bulky, so you have to dedicate quite a large amount of space to them. And that’s why tables and especially the long tables are often tough to fit in small apartments. Except these tables created by Ochre. The designers solved that problem by folding the tables into the wall when they’re not in use, therefore offering you a spacious room for other activities. When you want a table, just pull them out of the wall and you can use them as a dining table or a work bench.

Hah…This is really fun, and I’d totally love to have tables like this! Do you?
