Thanks to Korean designer Yeongwoo Kim, we can now have a unique experience of pouring light out of a tea cup. Inspired by moving water, the Pouring Light Lamp comes with a cup part and a water part, and the latter is filled with phosphorescence to create an amazing flow of light. So how do you like the lamp?

Designed for music enthusiasts, the Drum Light aims to delight the user with light rather than music. So every time you tap the drum, the light will turn on and with another tap, it then turns off. But you needn’t worry that the Drum Light will be activated by other sound, because the light also comes with a sensitivity control to manage the noises.

“Flat Light was the result of borrowing an Anglepoise task light from college. This led to Flat Light, which has been exhibited at the Royal College of Art Summer show in 2007 and as part of Designers in Residence at the Design Museum, London”

Infectious Light is a modular lighting system made up of several battery-run light bulbs that could sense and react to each other. These bulbs gotta light up one by one when you bring the “mother” light closer to the “baby” lights, and the project takes the very name “Infectious Light” simply from that act.

The designer has also created a kind of luminous tree for these soft spheres, to solve the problem of charging.

Inspired by the beautiful fireflies sparking in the gardens on summer nights, Vuk Dragovic has come up with an innovative table also named as “Firefly”. It has a built-in lamp, which is powered by solar energy collected during the daytime and emits light in the nights. At the bottom of the lamp, there’s usually text or logo that could be projected onto the ground to boast certain products, movies, and firms.
