Ripple Effect Shows On A Table

September 02nd, 2010

Ripple Effect Tea TableAt a sunny afternoon, having a cup of tea is really an enjoyable thing, so I guess you all love. Maybe except for the kids, they’ll love more exciting events, tea’s just too quiet and plain for them. But things can always change, your tea time can be with more movements now, and your kids might will love to have a cup of tea with you, thanks to this Ripple Effect Tea Table.

Inspired by the idea that small changes of individual objects can be a big impact on the whole, Korean designers Seo Jeonghwa and Hanna Chung have collaborated the ‘ripple effect’ tea table that features a water layer on the top to make ripples when the users move cups on it. As a result, both your movements and the cups’ movements will cause a change on the table. Isn’t that interesting?

I always love interesting furnitures, they make our plain life more beautiful and interesting, adds a lot of fun. So, how do you like this ripple effect tea table?

Innovative Dinning Table for Easy Dinner

August 08th, 2010

Table Set DesignA dinning table is like the most essential furniture in our house, we eat everyday by them. And as we all know, to have our dinner we also need some plates to carry our delicious dishes, only then can we have dinner. But where do we put our plates? On the dinning table of course! Then why not combine the two together?!

Well, check out this Table Set Design:

What would happen if we combine the plates and dinning table together? Having that question in mind, Elad Kashi has spent much time designing an innovative table and finally come up with the Table Set. It is a round table built with several ceramic plates on the top so that the users can directly put the dishes onto them without having to serve extra plates. Those plates are also removable, allowing for easy cleaning and installing.

Everyone loves to do things more easily, so this is a really good idea, especially to the housewives. Now we can just clean the table set instead of a table and many plates, it’s easier. But don’t you feel a little weird eating directly on the table, since we’ve been told not to ever since we were very young? Well, guess we’ll just get used to it, or maybe wait for another innovative design to take place… :) Anyway, this is a really nice design, sweet!

Time for Picnic

June 27th, 2010

OASIS Folding Table and ChairsEvery summer is joyful, but this summer must be even more memorable because of the World Cup Match. Every picnic is playful, but this summer picnic will be even more enjoyable and fun because of this OASIS Folding Table and Chairs. They will totally make picnic much easier.

The 2010 summer is wonderful enough to be memorable—we sit under the open sky, breath in the fresh air, and watch the live telecasting of the world cup match with numerous people. And of course we all use the OASIS 2-Person Folding Table and Chairs. Shaped like a small suitcase that measures 23 3/4″ x 15 3/4″ x 4 1/2″ (L x H x D), the furniture actually can be expanded into 31 1/2″ Length x 23 5/8″ Width x 25 9/16″ Height, especially perfect for camping and picnic.

I love foldable furnitures, and they’re even more adorable when in outdoor use. Because apparently it is more convenient carrying a suitcase other than a table and two chairs, right.

A Sweet Little Light in Your Table

May 10th, 2010

Firefly TableI love interesting small tables, they’re cute and make my life colorful and joyful. When I am having dinner along, or when I want to have a read, I always wanted to have a interesting small table to add the fun. So after some Google work, I found this Firefly table I think I should share with you guys. It’s a sweet table that is interesting, romantic and functional.

Inspired by the beautiful fireflies sparking in the gardens on summer nights, Vuk Dragovic has come up with an innovative table also named as “Firefly”. It has a built-in lamp, which is powered by solar energy collected during the daytime and emits light in the nights. At the bottom of the lamp, there’s usually text or logo that could be projected onto the ground to boast certain products, movies, and firms.

This table is very interesting and do will make your time at home more enjoyable, I really love the design, and the little light is so thoughtful and sweet.
