Living in a world of information, we can indeed use some help of these cute little guys, technically they were born to meet our needs of getting data on the go. But after so many of them were made, there comes a demand of more practical and beautiful ones. And then this is it, a transparent-colorful USB stick.

How can it be both transparent and colorful? Good question, let’s see! Inspired by Japanese Soma-Toh, Mac Funamizu has come up with the Funny USB Memory Stick that features an interesting and direct way to present its spare capacity. Compared with conventional USB memory disks needing to be connected to PC to show its usage conditions, this device presents its spare capacity with disco lights: no lights stand for “empty stick”, pink light for “images stored”, blue for “documents”, green for “movies” and “all lights are on ” for “full memory”. So this is it, when it’s empty it’s transparent, and it becomes colorful when data are stored! Very cool huh…

Beautiful and practical, this is exactly what we wanted! Just hope they’ll come up with a big stomach!

Le Male USB Stick, Smells Nice

As a modern social resident in the world today, data on the go is really very important for all of us, like we’ve already known. So as to meet the needs, flash disks were then born, and all the companies have been trying to make them more beautiful in order to survive in a region full of fierce competitions and make profit. Fashion world makes no exception and comes with excellent ideas and nice prices (as it always does).

Now let’s take look at the Le Male USB Stick presented by Jean Paul Gaultier. And that’s something I really didn’t see coming! We love the scent, but Jean Paul Gaultier’s Le Male is now turned into a USB stick! The fragrance bottle was an amazing artwork when it first comes out, and now there’s something more about it. A USB interface was attached which makes it more than just beautiful, it is now very practical too!

Oh, wait, there’s more! Not only this looks like JP Gaultier legendary perfume, but it also smells like it! You plug Gaultier’s Le Male USB Key and you’ll feel the mythical scent slowly filling up the air. There’s no word whether this very special gadget is still available (it came with the perfume during last’s summer sales, in selected Boots stores), but I think it’s a brilliant idea for fashionable geeky people. Wouldn’t you buy a gadget that smells like your favorite fragrance? Or the fragrance of someone you love?

I’d love to have one as long as the price tag is reasonable (quite not possible though). And just asking, “Did they do the female perfume bottle version?”
